Jack Nut
Jack nuts are expandable in nature that come with an internally threaded sleeve, made to be used across thin, soft or brittle materials like plastic, fiberglass or sheet metal. Upon insertion into pre-drilled holes, these nuts collapse behind the panel as the screw is tightened, thereby providing with a secure and vibration-resistant anchor. They are routinely seen in automotive interiors, electronics, and light-duty assemblies.
