Slotted Castle Nut
Slotted castle nuts are shaped in the form of a hexagon, along with notches present at one end. These nuts are made to be secured with the help of split pins by making a drilled hole in the bolt. They are mostly found in automotive, machinery, and agricultural applications, wherein they help against loosening caused by vibrations.
